Sofitel to expand luxury hotel offering with three new properties

Sofitel has continued to develop its presence around the world by signing three new contracts in Frankfurt (Germany), Kiev (Ukraine) and Singapore.

Three cosmopolitan capitals, all key cities for the brand, will welcome two Sofitel and one Sofitel So in Singapore in signature brand style: French elegance conjugated internationally, while respecting the culture of each country.

“These three new addresses are a perfect illustration of our precise target strategy.

“With our unique positioning, based on our French roots and close collaboration with famous architects and designers, today we are receiving more and more interest from investors, won over by our distinction and the successful repositioning of Sofitel in the luxury hotel business,” commented Sofitel chief executive Robert Gaymer-Jones.

Sofitel So Singapore

Hotels under the Sofitel So label are trendy, designer boutique properties located right in the heart of town and reflecting its spirit and atmosphere.

The new Singapore hotel blends design and pleasure, style and personality. In a building steeped in history built in 1927 in pure neo-classical style, Sofitel So Singapore boasts 134 guestrooms including 23 suites.

It is situated at the hub of the business district and close to the Marina Bay financial centre. Its opening is scheduled for 2013.

This is the first Sofitel address in Singapore with Sofitel So Singapore reinforcing the brand’s presence in Asia and therefore emerging as one of the major players in the luxury hotel industry on the continent.

Sofitel Frankfurt Opéra

Sofitel Frankfurt Opérahas the advantage of an exceptional location in the heart of town next to the Opera House and near the major international company headquarters and luxury boutiques on Goethestraße.

The hotel boasts 150 guestrooms including 30 suites, a restaurant, lobby bar, and a 400 sq metre area entirely devoted to wellbeing, with a So SPA and So FIT.

The opening is scheduled for 2014.

After Berlin, Munich and Hamburg, Sofitel is confirming its presence in Germany with this fourth address in the country’s top financial centre, the real crossroads of Europe.

Sofitel Kiev Lyuteranska

Right in the centre of the city of golden domes, a stone’s throw from the famous Opera house and Saint Sophia cathedral with its magnificent Byzantine architecture, is the site of the new Sofitel Kiev Lyuteranska.

This establishment will offer 289 guestrooms including 31 suites, two restaurants, a bar, and a vast 1000 sq metre area with So SPA and So FIT.

Seven modular meeting rooms and a ballroom complete the offer which targets business travellers. Its opening is planned for 2013.
