Hong Kong Airlines to launch daily Osaka service from July

Commencing on July 15th, Hong Kong Airlines, an internationally-acclaimed full-service airline, will launch daily service between Hong Kong and Kansai Airport in Osaka, Japan.

This new destination will further strengthen the airline’s network in Asia-Pacific, and provide travellers who love this modern and traditional all-in-one city with more travel options.

Li Dianchun, chief commercial officer at Hong Kong Airlines, said: “We are delighted that Hong Kong Airlines is launching this Osaka Kansai service, offering even more choices to passengers travelling to Japan.

“As the second largest city of Japan, Osaka has long been one of the favourite destinations for Hong Kong people due to its proximity to popular sightseeing areas such as Kyoto, Nara, Kobe.

“Hong Kong Airlines will continue to grow our route network in Japan and Asia, and strengthening Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s major aviation hubs.”

Complemented by the existing twice-daily flights to Okinawa and Narita, Tokyo, daily flight to Okayama, five-time weekly service to Sapporo and Kagoshima, twice-weekly flights to Miyazaki, Hong Kong Airlines will operate a total of 54 weekly flights between Hong Kong and Japan starting from July, further strengthening its route network.
