Travelport appoints new manager in the Middle East and Africa

Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, has today announced a strategic new addition to its Middle East and Africa (MEA) management team.

Mouna Moussi has joined the global distribution system (GDS) provider’s Airline Services Group as Senior Business Development Manager responsible for handling key airline relationships across the Middle East and North Africa, with a specific focus on the Levant and Maghreb countries.

She has been tasked with managing existing airline relationships in the region, as well as identifying new commercial and partnership opportunities with carriers to support the overall growth plans of Travelport’s GDS business.

Having established a solid reputation and wide-reaching network amongst various travel industry stakeholder groups, Mouna brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Over the past 12 years, she has held various positions with airline-related organisations, including Sabre Airline Solutions, and played a key role raising the international profile of the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) and its member airlines during her tenure as Executive Director.

A multi-lingual Lebanese national based in Beirut, Mouna has a Master’s degree of Science in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University in the UK and a BA in Business (Finance and Marketing) from Balamand University in Lebanon.
