Savour a bite of vitality at Four Seasons Mauritius

Helping guests nourish their bodies from the inside out, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita has introduced A Bite of Vitality - a new menu of healthy Spa cuisine that can be enjoyed in the tranquil surroundings of the overwater Spa’s outdoor relaxation patio.

Offering guests the opportunity to enhance their Mauritius Spa and Wellness experience, A Bite of Vitality provides a flavoursome selection of breakfast dishes and light fare, which are available to order directly to the Spa throughout the day and early evening, either before or after treatments.

With each dish featuring a description of the particular health benefits gained from its ingredients, the menu allows guests to choose not only according to their appetite, but also according to their personal nutritional requirements.

Wholesome breakfast options include buckwheat crepes and red fruit compote; egg white cocotte, truffle and roasted artichoke; and organic honey roasted granola; while the selection of light fare includes steamed sea bass with lemongrass, ginger, organic jasmine rice and pico de gallo; and red quinoa with seared red tuna, cucumber, red cabbage and basil, with lime-dill dressing.

All dishes are carefully seasoned with herbs and spices to create naturally delicious flavours without added cholesterol and fat, and natural sweeteners such as agave nectar are used in place of artificial sweeteners. Freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices and cleansing organic teas are also available as the perfect accompaniment.

The tranquil overwater Spa is set in the beautiful, lush surroundings of Mauritius’ east coast and offers a full range of Afro-Indian inspired treatments, as well as a combination of yoga, meditation and Tibetan ritual classes through the newly launched Wellness Program.
