London Luton Airport continues its strong start to the year, reporting a second month of growth for 2011. February’s growth came from all regions with Domestic, EU and non-EU traffic all recording increases of 3% and more. This follows positive figures from January, which saw a 9.4% uplift in passenger traffic.
Glyn Jones, London Luton Airport’s Managing Director commented:
“We believe that continued growth in passenger numbers demonstrates our route network and excellent transport links remain attractive to leisure and business travellers alike. New routes on sale and extra capacity from our airlines ensure we are meeting extra demand.”
