Pacific Resort Hotel Group holds high hopes for two of their five-star properties this awards season, with both being nominated in the Cook Islands’ Best Resort Spa category for the 2016 World Spa Awards.

For the second year in a row, Pacific Resort Aitutaki’s Tiare Spa and Te Manava Luxury Villas Spa’s Te Manava Spa will go head to head for the only World Spa Award offered in the Cook Islands.

While Te Manava Spa took home the title last year, both properties are again strong participants in this esteemed ceremony within the spa industry.

Four other properties in the Cook Islands have also had their winners are determined through an online vote by spa consumers and professionals in the tourism.

Voting is now open and ends on July 25th.

The winners will be announced at Forte Village Resort in Sardinia on September 5th, 2016.

The World Spa Awards was created in 2015 in an effort to raise standards while recognising leaders within the spa industry.

It is the sister event of World Travel Awards, a prestigious travel industry awards programme in its 23rd year.
