Four Seasons Las Vegas ring in new Year in with guestroom renovations

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas will ring in the New Year in grand style – with a complete renovation of all 424 guest rooms and suites slated to be complete by December 17, 2012. This innovative design project was inspired in part by the vibrant Art Deco period, resulting in chic interiors that are simultaneously stylish, modern and reflective of the glamour and energy for which Las Vegas is known.

Few design styles are more timeless and renowned than the Art Deco period, having sprung from a prolific time in which elegance, sophistication and modernity were celebrated. In the new Four Seasons guest rooms, bespoke furniture translations show the influence of vintage designers while remaining functional and uncomplicated. Elsewhere, sleek furnishings and metal hardware recall high-fashion from decades past.

With bold colours, quality constructed furnishings and innovative, user-friendly technology, the contemporary design palette echoes the city’s excitement and vibrance. Highly polished ribbon mahogany and cream lacquer finishes express intensity and drama while silver leaf and nail head accents add further visual interest. Use of high-contrast, polished materials reflect the glittering lights of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Meanwhile, eclectic, unconventional colour pairings brilliantly compliment large pieces of modern art, which were scouted specifically for the location - and often commissioned - to suggest a private residence collection.

Four Seasons guest rooms and suites are located on floors 35 – 39 of the Mandalay Bay tower, offering sweeping views of the world-famous Las Vegas Boulevard or the surrounding desert landscape through floor-to ceiling windows. The Hotel’s luxury suites offer panoramic views of the Strip or the Las Vegas valley.

It is said that the details that make the difference between a great stay and a superior one. Additional design highlights include:
