Air Canada rolls out bag-tracking feature across Europe
Air Canada has rolled out its Bag Tracking feature to several destinations across the Atlantic, giving customers in Europe a stress-free journey when flying with the Canadian flag carrier. Passengers flying from London, Paris, Dublin and Edinburgh can now keep tabs on their luggage using the tracking feature in the Air Canada app. The feature is also available to customers travelling from Rome, Milan and Copenhagen.
TAP LAUNCHES NEW ‘AIRSPACE’ CABINS WITH XL OVERHEAD BINS
TAP Air Portugal has launched its new ‘Airspace’ cabins in its fleet, with more space for luggage and greater comfort for passengers. The new A321neo, named António Sérgio, is now part of the TAP fleet and made its maiden commercial flight today between Lisbon and Warsaw. It is the first of 20 aircraft with the new cabin that the company will receive by 2029.

EVA Air Adds Extra Flights to Milan and Brisbane Routes
EVA Air, Taiwan’s leading independent airline, has introduced new flights to its services between both Taipei and Brisbane and Taipei and Milan. From 16 January 2026, the Taipei-Milan-Taipei route will be offering a daily service, representing an increase of 3 flights per week (the route currently operates flights 4 days per week). What’s more the Taipei-Brisbane-Taipei route will see additional flights operate every Tuesday between 2nd December 2025 and 24th February 2026.

Etihad Reports August 2025 Traffic Statistics
Etihad Airways has released its traffic statistics for August 2025, marking a historic milestone as the airline carried more than 2 million passengers in a single month for the first time ever. The airline welcomed 2.0 million guests during the month, a 22% increase compared to August 2024. Etihad achieved a passenger load factor of 91%, up from 89% in the same month last year, reflecting strong demand and highly efficient capacity utilisation.
