Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor is refreshed and renovated

Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor boasts a whole new look, after completing a more than $2.5 million renovation in May 2009. The hotel now offers a refurbished lobby, restaurant, guest rooms and conference center as part of the Four Points by Sheraton global revitalization campaign. In the past five years, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) and its licensees have invested more than $1 billion to reinvent the Four Points by Sheraton brand, driven by major property renovations, conversions and new-build hotels.

Designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in the 1980’s, Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor has been refreshed for today’s self-sufficient traveler. The redesigned Alexander’s Lounge and Restaurant overlooks Ventura Harbor and creates an inviting setting for guests with its nautically-themed photographs and a soothing blue and white color scheme. The sleek and contemporary family room features new, flat-screen plasma televisions and comfortable seating, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, socializing or checking email using the hotel’s complimentary high-speed Internet. Also, the lobby and 9,800 square-feet of conference and meeting facilities have been re-carpeted and equipped with everything from new doors to new tiles.

“Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor now truly exemplifies the brand’s revitalized contemporary look and feel. The relaxed atmosphere and contemporary design of our renovated hotel have elicited great reviews from many of our regular guests,” said Victor Dollar, General Manager, Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor. “We strive to provide travelers with everything they want and need – spacious guestrooms, comfortable beds, and an engaging social atmosphere, all at an honest value.”

The hotel’s 106 refreshed guest rooms now offer a more open flow, thanks to the addition of brand-new, flat screen televisions. In their rooms, guests also enjoy free bottled water, complimentary high-speed Internet and the Four Points by Sheraton Four Comfort Bed, a luxurious ensemble including a plush mattress, an assortment of pillows, and stylish duvet.

Ideally located on California’s Gold Coast, Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor is less than one hour from Los Angeles and 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. The hotel is close to the shops of Harbor Village, several unspoiled beaches, a choice of golf courses and Channel Islands National Park. Also nearby are the corporate offices of Manufacturing Technology and Kinko’s.
