Ryanair appoints Ink Publishing to produce new inflight magazine, reaching a massive audience of 50 million European travellers.Ink Publishing announced they have been appointed to publish the new inflight magazine for Europe’s largest low fares airline, Ryanair. The monthly publication, titled Ryanair magazine, will be on planes as of 15 March, 2007.

With an expected 50 million passengers this year, and annual passenger growth of 22.5% per annum, Ryanair flies more passengers to more destinations than any other low fares airline in Europe.

Jeffrey O’Rourke, Ink Publishing Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to be producing Ryanair’s new inflight magazine, which will be getting a serious upgrade as of March 2007. With Ryanair flying to hundreds of popular destinations across Europe, including a wide range of unique, niche destinations, advertisers have a remarkable opportunity here. Due to the airline’s phenomenal success and growing popularity, advertisers are able to precisely target a massive audience of over 4.1 million consumers every month.”

O’Rourke continued: “The Ryanair passenger is a frequent, affluent traveler who is far more likely to have an interest in purchasing property abroad and who is frequently seeking out new destinations to explore.”

It will carry features directly related to the lifestyle, interests and purchasing habits of Ryanair’s large, unique audience.
