Marcus stands down as Orbitz chief financial officer after just two months

Mitch Marcus has stood down as Orbitz Worldwide chief financial officer after just two months in the job.

Marcus has left to “pursue other opportunities”, Orbitz stated in a Securities & Exchange Commission filing.

David Belmont was appointed interim chief financial officer, resuming the position he has occupied before the appointment of Marcus.

Belmont, then Orbitz group vice president of financial planning and analysis, was named interim chief financial officer last June.

On that occasion he replaced Russell Hammer, who left the company after occupying the job for less than 18 months.
