American Express Global Business Travel has appointed Patricia Huska to the role of chief people officer.
Huska reports to American Express Global Business Travel chief executive Doug Anderson and has joined his executive leadership team.

Huska will drive a people-focused strategy designed to attract and retain talent, while furthering American Express Global Business Travel’s focus on being the employer of choice in the global travel industry.
She will be responsible for all traditional human resources requirements that support more than 16,000 highly-skilled business travel professionals across American Express Global Business Travel global enterprise.

Huska was previously vice president of global human resources for American Express Global Business Travel, responsible for the development and execution of strategies aimed at attracting talent, while retaining and engaging the existing employee base. She also has significant merger and acquisition experience.
With 25 years at American Express and American Express Global Business Travel, Huska has a broad human resources background including employee relations, recruitment, change management, and organisational effectiveness.
