The Hoxton, Chicago, welcomes first guests in United States

The Hoxton, Chicago, has opened its doors in the heart of the city’s exciting Fulton Market District.

Taking its place as the seventh hotel in the now global series, the hotel boasts 182 rooms, three distinct dining and drinking destinations.

These include an open-air rooftop Peruvian restaurant and moody basement cocktail bar.

Also on offer are lively public spaces, including a beautiful airy double-height lobby, a rooftop pool and the Apartment, a unique meeting and events space.

Bedrooms reference the neighbourhood’s industrial past with unfinished concrete ceilings and warehouse-style windows complemented by two-toned walls in white and rose, mid-century furniture, brass bed lamps, custom-made rugs, and walk-in showers with herringbone tilework.

The hotel’s restaurants and bars are run in collaboration with Chicago’s Boka Restaurant Group (Girl & the Goat, Boka, Momotaro, Bellemore).

On the rooftop, Cabra Cevicheria, an open-air Peruvian-inspired restaurant helmed by renowned chef, Stephanie Izard, offers seasonal ceviches and tiraditos.

On the ground floor, Cira is an all-day is modern Mediterranean restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner seven days a week, as well as weekend brunch.

Those looking for something stronger should head downstairs to Lazy Bird, an intimate cocktail bar with a menu offering 52 classic cocktails.

The bar will be a great late-night spot, with live jazz, rock and soul on select evenings.
