Ryanair saw traffic grow 12 per cent to 11.8 million customers in June.

Over the same period, load factors at the low-cost carrier rose two percentage points to 96 per cent.

Rolling annual traffic to June grew 13 per cent to 123.8 million customers.

Ryanair spokesman Kenny Jacobs said: “Customers can still avail of great fares for low cost summer breaks and make advance bookings for winter 2017, so there’s never been a better time to book a low fare flight on Ryanair.”
