DEN Supports Frontier Request For Authority To Serve 3 Destinations In Mexico

Approval will bring number of new nonstop destinations to 11 since January 2002
Denver International Airport issued the following statement Tuesday in response
to Frontier Airlines’ filing with the U.S. Department of Transportation seeking
authority to begin nonstop service from Denver to Cancun, Los Cabos and
Mazatlan, Mexico:
“In the past eight months, airlines at DEN have announced or initiated new or
expanded nonstop service to 11 destinations. Of those, seven are international
destinations in Mexico and Canada,” said Amy Bourgeron, deputy manager of
aviation/public relations and marketing.
“We are delighted that Frontier has chosen to pursue service to what we consider
to be three priority unserved markets.”
