Czech sets passenger record

In 2005, Czech Airlines carried a record 5.2 million passengers continuing 2004 growth, when the airline carried 4.3 million passengers.  The company’s share of charter transport rose last year as well, doubling to 706 000 passengers.

The total number of 5.2 million passengers carried over the twelve months of 2005 represents year-on-year growth of 20% and is also the highest number of passengers in the history of CSA.

The number of flights grew as well: in 2005 there were almost 40 000 flights, which is year-on-year growth of 18%.
