The Adolphus goes wireless

Following a recent refurbishment, The Adolphus is offering complimentary Wayport Wi-Fi wireless high-speed Internet access in all of its guest rooms and suites.  “Our customer surveys show that free Internet service is the top request among business and leisure travelers,” said Tom E. Garcia, managing director of The Adolphus.  “We are committed to listening to our guests and offering amenities and special touches that make them feel most at home on the road.”

Long associated with “firsts” in technology, The Adolphus is on the cutting edge of trends in hospitality comfort.  It was the first hotel in the world to have central air conditioning, for example, and in the fall of 2002, it was the first luxury hotel to offer Wayport’s Wi-Fi Wireless Internet Service throughout its entire property.

“Throughout its 94-year history, The Adolphus has been first to embrace the latest technology,” added Garcia.  “Wayport was the obvious choice for a hotel of our caliber.  Its Wi-Fi service is unsurpassed and its customer service is equal to our own.  Wayport’s dominance in the industry is the ultimate calling card that we are proud to include with our own.”

In addition to its guest rooms and suites, the hotel’s art-filled Lobby Living Room has complimentary high-speed wireless Internet service, which business and leisure travelers are welcome to access 24/7.
