Air Astana will resume direct flights between Almaty and Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, on March 16th. Services will be operating three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Air Astana will begin operations to the Maldives twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays from December 5th. There will also be an additional Monday flight from December 21st.

Initially twice a week, the frequencies increase to three a week from October 26th on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and will be operated using the new Airbus A321LR.

As the aviation fightback from the coronavirus shutdown continues to gather pace, Air Astana has said it will resume scheduled flights between Almaty and Nur-Sultan starting May 1st.

Air Astana will launch services between Almaty and India’s commercial centre, Mumbai, on June 1st. Flights will be operated four times a week using Airbus A320, with a sector time of 4.5 hours in each direction.

Air Astana has unveiled plans for a new service from Paris to Almaty, with the route set to launch in June. The flights will operate three times a week using the carrier’s new Airbus A321LR, which entered revenue service on the Air Astana network last month.
