Tom Cruise returns to the top of Burj Khalifa
Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has returned to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai for further filming on Mission: Impossible IV – taking his seat on top of the world.
Having already been captured clambering up the side of the building earlier this month, Cruise went one better over the weekend, taking a seat on top of the world’s tallest building.
With his legs hanging over the side, Cruise waved to cameramen filming his exploits in a circling helicopter, while flashing his trademark smile.
Cruise is already known for doing his own stunts, but his latest adventures on the 2,717ft Burj Khalifa tops the lot!
With the actor safely back on the ground Tom’s spokeswoman said: “He says if he does his own stunts, audiences will believe more in the character.”
Cruise himself also confirmed he would be spending many days hanging around outside the Burj Khalifa Tower.
He said: “I can’t give you details, but I will be up there.”
World Travel Awards
In an exciting time for Dubai, the World Travel Awards recently confirmed it would host its Middle East Gala Ceremony in the emirate next year.
The lavish event is scheduled to take place at the Armani Hotel – itself situated inside the Burj Khalifa – on May 2nd 2011.
