KLM Royal Dutch Airlines customers can now book Economy Comfort on flights within Europe. From December 1st onwards, Economy Comfort will be available on flights operated by Boeing 737 aircraft, which includes seven UK departure points serving Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

KLM and Flybe have launched a codeshare agreement on two routes, between Amsterdam and Southampton and between Amsterdam and Inverness. Through this new partnership, KLM will be offering its customers three daily flights on the Southampton-Amsterdam route and one daily flight on the Inverness-Amsterdam route.

Travelport has announced the first live booking of a KLM Economy Comfort seat using the new industry standard electronic miscellaneous document (EMD). The booking was fulfilled via a travel agent in the Netherlands for a customer travelling from Amsterdam to Beijing. Currently in Alpha testing, this new functionality will be made available to Travelport-connected travel agents throughout the world in a phased roll-out which begins next month.
