Travel Indochina offers 800 departures to Indochina

Leading Asia specialist, Travel Indochina, is launching its new Small Group Tours Asia brochure for 2011, featuring more itineraries and departures to Indochina and Thailand than any other tour operator in the UK, for groups of up to 16 travellers.

Offering a total of 35 thoughtfully-constructed itineraries, together with 848 departures for 2011 to its key areas of specialism – Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos – Travel Indochina is an expert in the region and is the only UK-based tour operator to feature such a huge diversity of tours for travellers to get under the skin of this fascinating part of the world. In addition, Travel Indochina offers a large variety of Small Group Journeys to China & Tibet, India and Japan, where group sizes are kept to a maximum of 18 travellers.

Under the Travel 2 brand, the new 2011/2012 brochure boasts Travel Indochina’s unrivalled selection of quality escorted Small Group Journeys categorised by destination; while a new 20-page “Indochina Cross-Border” section has seen Travel Indochina respond to the growing consumer trend of combining two or more countries on a single trip to this captivating region of Asia.

A new cross-border journey for 2011 is the 15-day “Vietnam & the Temples of Angkor”. Providing an alternative two-week option to Travel Indochina’s hugely popular 14-day “Cambodia & Vietnam Explorer”, the highlights of this experience-based tour include an overnight cruise through the jaw-dropping islands of Halong Bay; a tour of bustling Saigon, including the extraordinary Cu Chi Tunnels and a stay deep in the lush Mekong Delta; plus, there is the opportunity to view the first rays of dawn shine across the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat, entered by torch-light via the little-used Eastern Gate for a truly unforgettable experience. Prices (based on twin share) start from £1,780 per person.

In addition, a new 6-day “Sapa Explorer” journey can be enjoyed as a fantastic stand-alone tour or as an ideal addition to any trip to Vietnam. This trip offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the ethnic minority tribes, and stay at the remote Topas Ecolodge, which is perched atop a mountain overlooking the rice-terraced scenery. Prices (based on twin share) start from £495 per person.

Lesley Wright, Travel Indochina’s international sales & marketing manager comments: “We have noticed an increased demand from consumers looking to explore more than one country on a single journey and our new “Indochina Cross-Border” section is designed to perfectly cater to this growing trend. Offering a multitude of choice and even greater value for money, our carefully-created cross-border journeys will ensure that your customers experience the absolute highlights of more than one country on what may be their only visit to this spectacular part of the world. It is important to us that your clients return home having met the locals, experienced the culture and savoured the cuisine – and we work hard to ensure this is reflected in all our itineraries.”
