Stansted Airport has reopened its single runway following a brief closure this morning due to snow.

Luton Airport, also in the south-east of England, has also reopened its runway following a similar closure during the early hours.

Both airports are, however, advising passengers to check with airlines for flight information before travelling.

Some flights may still be subject to delays and cancellation, Stansted warned.
