Sofitel Mumbai BKC opens to public

Sofitel Luxury Hotels, known for their contemporary French Luxury hospitality, has successfully launched the Sofitel Mumbai BKC, in the heart of Mumbai, the first in an exciting line-up of future projects.

French culture, design and gastronomy blend artistically with rich Indian tradition in a Neo Art Nouveau style, offering multifaceted experiences in cuisine, entertainment and relaxation; where buoyant business meets elegant lifestyle, and ‘Life is Magnifique’.

The Sofitel Mumbai BKC is located at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) - the burgeoning financial district of Mumbai.

Geographically in the centre of the city, BKC has excellent access to both major highways in Mumbai as well as the domestic and international terminals of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

The area is also conveniently located to explore tourist attractions in both South and North Mumbai.

With the National Stock Exchange, Consulates, international schools, corporations, major banks and the Bharat Diamond Bourse - the world’s largest diamond trading centre, the immediate area around the hotel is fast developing into a business hub for Mumbai.

Sofitel Mumbai BKC has been meticulously designed by the architects at BBGM, with interior designers at the Miaja Design Group led by Isabelle Miaja, a renowned French designer.

The hotel design embraces modern and elegant interiors creating a French contemporary feel with a blend of Indian colours, shapes and patterns.

Marble and chandeliers for the lobby, design and elegance for the bedrooms with state of the art technology for the business centre, the Sofitel Mumbai BKC intends to become a key address in the city.

“Sofitel Mumbai BKC will introduce Mumbai to a luxurious blend of French elegance and Indian culture.

“We will be a key address combining the best of each country’s culture. French elegance, savoir-faire and art de recevoir coupled with India’s rich heritage of personalized service, tradition of luxury and depth of culture will provide a backdrop for memorable stays” said Bernd Schneider, general manager Sofitel Mumbai BKC.
