Ryanair sees strong traffic growth in June

Low-cost airline Ryanair has released traffic statistics for June 2014, revealing traffic grew by 400,000 to 8.3m customers – and increase of five per cent when compared to the same month last year.

Load factors at the international carrier increased four points to 88 per cent, while rolling annual traffic rose to a record 82.7 million customers, up three per cent.

Ryanair chief marketing officer, Kenny Jacobs, said: “Ryanair traffic grew by 400,000 to 8.3 million customers in June, thanks to our lower fares and our improving customer experience, including our great new website, allocated seating, a free second small carry-on bag and PED use on all flights.

“Ryanair continues to deliver so much more than just the lowest fares in every market for our 82.7m customers.”
