This week Manchester Airport has got into the Chinese New Year spirit with lots of entertainment and fun in the terminals.

A lion dance and traditional Chinese dancers entertained passengers while they waited for their flight to Beijing during the celebrations.

In addition to the entertainment, the airport has decked the terminals out in traditional Chinese lanterns plus there is a host of retail offers available for passengers.

For those not jetting off to China from the UK’s third biggest airport, do not fear, as there is a host of Chinese New Year giveaways on the airport’s social media channels to win.

Manchester Airport is the only airport outside of London with direct routes to China.

Hainan Airlines serves Beijing and Cathay Pacific does Hong Kong.
