Iberia has launched a new product for members of the Iberia Plus loyalty programme, marking its 21st anniversary. “Avios & Money” enables members to pay for flights using both real money and “Avios”, the new name for frequent flyers points of the Iberia Plus programme.

The service is available for reservations made on the iberia.com or via Iberia Plus service centers, for flights by Iberia, Iberia Express, and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, while to use the service for flights on Vueling and British Airways, members must reserve via Iberia Plus service centres.

Members may use cash to pay for up to 50 per cent of the fare (excluding airport taxes).
