Wibowo said Garuda Indonesia was pleased to be able to continue our longstanding partnership with British Embassy.

This new partnership will further boost those activities among two countries, while offering more added value for travellers between Indonesia and the UK.

The deal is line with Garuda Indonesia’s commitment as flag carrier to promote Indonesian tourism.

Malik said: “The UK has the world’s most exciting football league, the finest fashion and shopping anywhere, great history and culture and the world’s best education.

“The UK is surprisingly affordable, and it’s easier to get to than ever before thanks to Garuda Indonesia’s excellent new flight from Jakarta to London.”

Garuda Indonesia started to serve the flight to UK since 2014, as a strategic effort for the airline to strengthen its position as global player, as well as to implement the national commitment to promote Indonesian tourism worldwide.
