From the 4th to the 7th of November London is hosting the leading global event for the travel industry “World Travel Market” (WTM). The event attracts more than 5000 exhibitors representing 184 countries and regions. It creates an opportunity to present diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to 47,776 global travel professionals and introduce to the foreign market the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana.

This year Kazakhstan is presented by a delegation composed of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the representatives of the Astana and Almaty town Halls, as well as diverse tourism companies. JSC “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” is a first time participant. During the exhibition several discussions are planned to take place in order to establish a dialog between interested parties involved in the tourism sector.

The participation in such a big event as WTM increases the awareness not only of Astana and the EXPO exhibition, but it also acts as a call to participate and allows to directly respond to all of the questions the visitors might have, to establish a collaboration with leading tourist companies for a further promotion of Kazakhstan as a tourist destination worth visiting.

The EXPO-2017 exhibition will be one of the key tourist points of interest; different tour packages will be adapted for different target groups.

At the same time the Italian guests of the exhibition have commented on the advantages of the collaboration between Astana and Milan, where EXPO will take place in the year 2015.
