Jetsgo Inaugurates Toronto Service

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) announced today that tomorrow, October 4, the Canadian discount airline, Jetsgo, will begin operating non-stop, weekly service between Toronto and Orlando Sanford. The carrier`s first flight into Orlando Sanford will arrive on Saturday with 95% of its available seats sold. Jetsgo was the first Canadian airline to announce scheduled service to Orlando Sanford. Jetsgo has recently announced plans to begin service between Orlando Sanford and the Montreal-Dorval International Airport (YUL) starting Saturday, November 1, 2003. Service to/from Vancouver is also available via a connection.
Both the Toronto and Montreal flights will operate year-round on Saturdays using 160-seat Boeing MD-83 aircraft. Additional Toronto flights will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays during the peak winter months. Montreal service will also increase with the addition of Wednesday and Thursday flights during the same period.
Headquartered in Montreal with 350 employees, Jetsgo began offering discount air service in June of 2002. It now flies to 17 Canadian and five U.S. destinations.
