Continental Airlines Provides Current Operational, Flight And Weather Information; Wired Or Wireless

Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) now
provides its customers with the most up-to-date flight arrival and departure
information available, as well as system operation status, through its Web
site, http://www.continental.com.  Customers may also choose to be notified of a
flight`s arrival or departure status through a variety of wired or wireless
devices.

The easiest way to access flight information on the airline`s Web site is
to select “Flight Status” at the bottom of the screen.  Selecting “Today`s
Operation” in the upper right hand corner of the next screen opens a display
of Continental`s operational status, including possible flight delays and
weather information provided by weather.com, the official Web site of The
Weather Channel.

To activate the notification service, go to http://www.continental.com, select
“Flight Status” and choose the “Flight Status Notification” link.  This system
can send an e-mail message to an alphanumeric pager, text-ready mobile phone
or e-mail inbox at a requested time prior to a flight`s scheduled departure or
arrival time.  Customers may choose to be notified up to four times—at one,
two, three and/or four hours prior to scheduled departure or arrival.  The
notification message will include the flight`s estimated departure or arrival
time and gate information (when available).

“Our Web site and Flight Status Notification Service go hand-in-hand,
providing our customers with the most detailed and current information
available,” said Continental Airlines Director of Marketing and Sales Patricia
Winebrenner.  “Continental is committed to providing the traveling public with
timely and accurate information.”

Continental Airlines is the fifth largest airline in the U.S., offering
more than 2,200 departures daily to 136 domestic and 92 international
destinations.  Operating hubs in Newark, Houston, Cleveland and Guam,
Continental (http://www.continental.com) serves more international cities than any
other U.S. carrier, including extensive service throughout the Americas,
Europe and Asia.

Continental was named the 2001 Airline of the Year by Air Transport World,
as well as the 1996 Airline of the Year, making it the only carrier to receive
this honor twice in five years.  Continental is in the top quarter of FORTUNE
magazine`s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America,” and is ranked the
nation`s No. 1 airline in customer satisfaction for long and short-haul
flights by Frequent Flyer Magazine and J.D. Power and Associates.  Continental
has received numerous awards for its BusinessFirst premium cabin (Conde Nast
Traveler, OAG, Entrepreneur and SmartMoney magazines), OnePass frequent flyer
program (InsideFlyer`s Freddie Awards) and overall operations and management
(FORTUNE magazine).
