TravelOptions` marketing director Tim Argent said: “Teletickets` success confirms that web bookings are an essential part of an operator`s business, especially in the post-September 11 economic climate where maximising sales without compromising capital is vital.

“Our customers are seeing as much as 60% of their business coming from online bookings. Our solution offers an affordable, flexible route to increased profits.”

Teletickets is the latest operator to go live with web bookings using TravelOptions` solution, following in the steps of TravelExtras, the Holiday Store, Respect Holidays and Cottages to Castles. Launched in January 2002, TravelOptions` web-enabling solution delivers operators a total online bookings package for a single payment and a negotiable fee for each booking made, rather than an annual licence.
