i-Station8 enhances iPod sound

Logic3 is releasing i-Station8, the latest addition to its i-Station range of iPod sound systems.

Its new speaker system which combines active subwoofer and bass radiator with eight specially calibrated, Vertical-Line-Array speakers. It also features a backlit LCD screen to show track information and display commands.


The system also boasts the added convenience of a remote control, allowing users to control all of the functions of the i-Station8 and extended functions of the docked iPod including Playlists, Albums, Shuffle & Repeat.

As well as playing music with the i-Station8 you can display video clips or photos from your iPod video or photo with television-compatible line-outs. It can be synchronised with your PC or Mac via its dock connector port, and can also be used as an external speaker system with devices other than iPods such as MP3, MiniDisc and CD players via its 3.5mm stereo line-in.

The i-Station8, which is powered either by the mains or by six AA batteries, costs under £100.

For those who prefer a more compact, highly portable music experience, Logic3 has also announced the release of the new i-Station3 and i-Station7, ideal for holiday-makers and anyone who wants to share their iPod tunes on the go, with the outstanding sound quality of a home system.

The three sleek new i-Stations all come in a choice of either black or white and accommodate every iPod with a dock connector.

Logic3 iPod accessories have been designed specifically for iPod and have received official Made for iPod® certification by Apple.
