Northwest ties in FFP with Midwest

Northwest Airlines has forged a new frequent flyer program partnership with Milwaukee-based Midwest Airlines.“We are pleased that Milwaukee’s two largest airlines are partnering to provide their loyal customers with even more options to earn and redeem frequent flyer miles,” said Jim Cron, vice president of passenger marketing and sales. “The partnership allows Northwest’s large and loyal customer base, cultivated over the last 79 years, to earn and redeem miles on flights throughout Midwest’s network.”

The partnership, beginning May 1, 2006, will allow members of Northwest’s WorldPerks frequent flyer program to earn and redeem miles on flights operated by Midwest Airlines and its subsidiary, Skyway Airlines, operating as Midwest Connect.

Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles frequent flyer program members will be able to earn and redeem miles on all flights operated by Northwest Airlines and Northwest Airlink partner airlines, Pinnacle Airlines and Mesaba Airlines. Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles program members will also be able redeem miles on KLM as part of the agreement.
