Gavin Henson Launches the Lodge

The Lodge by Macdonald opened its doors to the public at the end of
August with a full house.  Over 100 Rugby League fans recently stayed at the new style hotel, with many fans bringing their families to Cardiff for the whole Bank Holiday weekend.

Developed by Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and Rightacres Property, The Lodge will be officially launched on 7th September by local rugby hero Gavin Henson.  Hotel staff, business colleagues and hotel agents will be attending the event to celebrate the launch of The Lodge, the first of its kind in the UK.
 
Rugby fan, Jason Neville from Yorkshire said “My family and I have been to Cardiff for the last 3 years to watch our team play at the Millennium Stadium, and we always make a weekend of it.  We were very impressed with the quality of the bedrooms at The Lodge and we have already booked to stay again for our visit to Cardiff this Christmas.”

The hotel offers 4 Star quality rooms suitable for a variety of guests whether they are visiting for leisure breaks or business trips. Guests can expect fully air conditioned rooms, an extensive continental breakfast, unlimited tea, coffee and juice all day, international cuisine delivery service, free Internet Broadband and free parking.
 
The Lodge offers competitive rates of £75 for bed and breakfast per room per night with flexibility and freedom designed to feel like a home-from-home for guests.
