Cuba’s upcoming Tourism Convention - scheduled from May 3 to 6 at the Plaza America Conference Center in Varadero - will this time around be devoted to culture as a tourist product, featuring the United Kingdom as the guest country and the local destination of Jardines del Rey as the special focus of attention.
Cuba’s Tourism Vice Minister Marta Maiz Gomez explained that tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, journalists, industry professionals and travel companies will exchange views about their products and new offerings, let alone have a one-and-only opportunity to get a firsthand look at the island nation’s leisure sector.
