A new mobile app is helping passengers using Bristol Airport access travel information on the move. The Bristol Airport App, from StreamThru, puts travel tips and flight updates at the fingertips of frequent flyers and first time visitors alike.

Alerts provide updates on the status of a chosen flight, while other features include an airport guide featuring maps of the terminal, traffic information and a parking reminder tool to save time and hassle remembering where you parked your car.

The app includes a guide to your chosen destination, including events listings and a five day weather forecast to help you plan your itinerary without the need to pack bulky guide books. It also comes with a handy currency converter to help keep track of your spending while overseas.

The Bristol Airport App from StreamThru is free and can be downloaded for the iPhone and Ovi. Blackberry and Android versions will be available in early 2011.
