Sabre Corporation has opened a new regional headquarters in Montevideo, Uruguay, for Travel Network, its global travel marketplace. The organisation processes more than US$120 billion of global travel spend annually by connecting travel buyers and suppliers.
Travel technology company Sabre Corporation has named Roshan Mendis as senior vice president of its global distribution system (GDS) and corporate travel business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa effective July 1. The appointment aligns with Sabre’s focus on continuing international growth.

Global Hotel Alliance has selected Sabre Hospitality Solutions as an alternative distribution provider for its members. Under the landmark agreement GHA’s 35 hotel brands now have the option to choose the Sabre SynXis Central Reservations as their distribution solution.
Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has signed a new agreement with technology provider Sabre Hospitality Solutions. Carlson Rezidor tapped Sabre Hospitality Solutions to develop and implement a global digital platform to power its ecommerce business for all of its brands.
Sabre has signed a deal with Emirates airline which will enable the carrier to easily purchase a range of customised fares. Sabre and Emirates have also signed a new long-term global distribution agreement to make the airline’s fares available to travel agents globally who use Sabre.
