CSR electric locomotive order signing worth 400m US dollars takes place in SA
The signing ceremony of CSR general freight locomotive project worth 400 million US dollars took place at Transnet Freight Rail Capital Park in Pretoria, South Africa, Xu Zongxiang, executive director and general manager of CSR Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. CSR Zhuzhou and Brian Molefe, CEO of Transnet, signed the contract, marking the debut of Chinese electric locomotives in Africa as well as China’s largest overseas electric locomotive order.

CSR MU Base opened to fans for the first time
On February 10, “Fans to CSR” jointly organized by China South Locomotive & Rolling CSR and the railway website Hasea.com was launched. More than 40 domestic railway fans from various places of China arrived at the CSR MU Base in Qingdao to visit the Train Body Development Department and the Model Showroom at the Technology Center, the experimental plant of the National Engineering Laboratory, No. 7 and No. 8 Train Body Plants, Bogie Component Machining and Welding Assembly Plant, MU Assembly Plant, Subway Assembly Plant, and the higher speed test train.
