Boeing is projecting a demand for 5,580 new airplanes in China over the next 20 years valued at $780 billion. The company’s annual China Current Market Outlook forecasts the country’s fleet to triple in size over the next two decades.

UK home secretary Theresa May has questioned plans to simplify the visa application process for Chinese visitors, claiming it would create a security risk. Jeremy Hunt, secretary of state for culture, media and sport, outlined plans earlier this week for an £8m extension of the GREAT marketing campaign into secondary Chinese markets in an attempt to boost visitor numbers from the country.
