Visit Finland launches online marketing drive

Navigate Media Group has kicked off its newest campaign for Visit Finland.

The campaign, called ‘Finland Blogsposure’, will run in February and showcase Finland as a winter destination by emphasising the breadth of options available for visitors at that time of year.

“Finland is as exciting a travel destination in the winter as it is in the summer.

“In fact, all seasons offer something different and unique for the visitor,” said Mervi Holmen, marketing director, Visit Finland.

“We are thrilled to work with Navigate Media Group and their innovative ideas around showcasing Finland as a year–round destination.”

Navigate Media Group will undertake a number of objectives for Visit Finland, including increasing interaction on the #VisitFinland hashtags on both Twitter and Instagram, creating a Pinterest presence for Visit Finland and also conducting a social media training seminar for various Finnish businesses in the travel sector.

“Finland Blogsposure stands to be one of the most comprehensive and complete blogging and social media campaigns undertaken by any destination in the world,” said Michael Hodson.

“We are thrilled to be on board to help take Visit Finland to the next level of social media interaction.”

In addition to the five travelling blog members activity on site with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and traditionally blogging, the four additional members of Navigate Media not on the trip will be providing social media amplification of the campaign in real-time.
