Travelport GDS signs agreement with Travel By Appointment

Travelport GDS, one of the world’s leading providers of global distribution systems (GDS), operating both the Galileo and Worldspan platforms, has renewed an agreement with leading independent travel management company, Travel By Appointment (TBA).  As part of the multi-year agreement Travelport GDS’ Galileo platform will be made available to the travel firm which has offices in both London and New York.

TBA specialises in travel requirements for corporate and entertainment clients and through the renewed agreement, will continue to provide its customers with superior air, land and sea content.

 

Commenting on the deal, TBA chairman and chief executive officer Maurice Veronique, who also chairs the Guild of Travel Management Companies, said: “We have an excellent working relationship with Travelport GDS/Galileo that goes back over 25 years.  Providing they continue to invest in the latest technology that enables us to constantly improve on our service efficiencies, we will continue to successfully work with them.”
