Travelport and Knock Travel sign new agreement

Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, has renewed a long-standing agreement with Belfast-based retail and corporate travel agent Knock Travel.  The new agreement builds on Knock Travel’s 20 year relationship with the GDS as the company will benefit from continued use of the Galileo platform.

Jérôme Moisan, Travelport country manager for the UK and Ireland said: “Knock Travel is a valued customer that continues to grow both its retail and corporate offering.  Knock Travel is taking advantage of many of our industry leading products, including Rapid Reprice and ViewTrip White Label, which will allow their business to deliver greater flexibility and efficiency to customers.  We continue to investigate ways of working with Knock Travel to improve their customer satisfaction.”

Knock Travel, which operates out of offices in both Belfast and Bangor, has been offering independent travel advice and value for money holidays to Irish travellers for 20 years and has won a host of customer service awards including a TTG Company Award for Excellence and a BBC Healthy Workplace Award.

Doreen McKenzie, founder and owner, Knock Travel, explained: “We are constantly impressed with the Galileo technology and the business benefits it offers. It makes perfect sense to continue this good relationship with Travelport.”
