Award-winning car rental site ArgusCarHire.com is hoping to salvage the travel plans of thousands of holidaymakers who booked their rental cars with doomed car rental broker SkyCars.com.
From today, ArgusCarHire.com will offer advice and accept bookings from customers who have been let down by the closure of SkyCars.com.
Skycars announced that it is ceasing operations earlier today through a statement on its website saying:
“It is with great regret that we have to announce that we have had to cease trading due to recent cash flow difficulties. Therefore we cannot accept any further bookings.
“If you have made a reservation through us and have either paid in full or a deposit, you should have received an e-mail from us informing you of the position and you will have to make another reservation through another provider.
“If you are owed money you will receive a further communication in due course.”
Commenting on the closure, Sonia Pender, Business Relationship Manager, ArgusCarHire.com said: Argus Car Hire understands the predicament SkyCars customers are finding themselves in and wishes to offer all SkyCars customers affected by the closure support and advice in making alternative bookings, ensuring the process is as easy as possible.”
