Sabre Launches First Arabic Social Network Tool for Agents

A free service, AgentStream, gives travel agents the ability to tap into the power of social media and connect with peers, interact on travel itineraries and products, and share business ideas and knowledgeto better serve leisure and business travellers.

AgentStream is built on Sabre’s cubelesstechnology - a community platform for businesses that is used by corporations and agencies around the world including Sabre itself. . It is an evolving service for agents, with Sabre continuing to enhance the community with new functionality allowing users to personalize the site and easily access information on pertinent topics.

Launched in North America in September 2009, thousands of agents now have profiles on the site, collaborating with peers on diverse travel-related issues. AgentStream is available to travel agents working on any global distribution system (GDS).

City.Mobi offers the most comprehensive mobile travel guides available, with over 800 cities in 200 countries listed. Each is developed by the City.Mobi team to combine into a single global travel directory.
However, each city retains its own mobile identity via a dedicated domain. Already on offer are Brussels.Mobi, Paris.Mobi, Sanfrancisco.Mobi, and Sydney.Mobi.
Most entries are also linked to websites where users can quickly access more detailed information if needed.
Other key features include information on accommodation, restaurants, attractions, entertainment, nightlife, shopping, and transport.
City.Mobi guides include user reviews and traveller utilities such as a translation guide, currency converter, news and local weather guide.
