Rezidor Hotel Group has confirmed it will develop Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam Schiphol, a 150 room property scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2012.

The property will be the first Park Inn by Radisson hotel in the Netherlands.

Park Inn by Radisson is a young, fresh and dynamic mid-market brand offering a reliable and personalised stay.

“We aim to bring Park Inn by Radisson to key destinations across Europe, and Amsterdam was on top of our wish list,” said Rezidor president Kurt Ritter.

“Once this hotel is open, Park Inn by Radisson will have a presence at four of the five busiest airports in Europe: London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt Rhein-Main and Amsterdam Schiphol.”

The hotel investor is Chalet Group (CG), a privately held investment management company that owns and operates approximately 90 commercial properties located throughout the Netherlands and Germany.

Park Inn by Radisson was created in early 2003 and has grown to more than 145 hotels in operation and under development across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Main development markets for the brand are Benelux, UK, Germany, and Russia.
