Europcar has entered into a new partnership in Canada with Discount Car and Truck Rentals, one of the largest car rental companies in Canada with over 260 locations and 17,000 vehicles covering all ten Canadian provinces.

Roland Keppler, chief executive officer, Europcar Group stated: “The new partnership with Discount fulfils the next step in our strategy to further develop our global footprint and extends our opportunities in the world’s car rental market, and especially in North America.”

From November, Discount Car and Truck Rentals is serving Europcar’s customers in Canada and Europcar is serving Discount’s customers in the rest of the world.

Europcar is now able to offer customers the access they need to prime airport locations in Canada and at the same time strengthen its reach to the North American market.
