Head Mixologist -Zippy Zampolini - Italy’s National Cocktail Champion, winner of the Bacardi Martini Cocktail Competition for the last three years, tends the Nova bar.  Zippy cleverly interprets cocktail classics to create his own award winning cocktails like the Novapolitan and the Sussex Star. 

Relax and unwind in deep leather chaise and chairs whilst the team talks you through the unique cocktails.  The essence of Nova is impeccable table service allowing you to relax and talk to friends. 

Nova is the focus of the ground floor in the newly opened Sussex Hotel.  This boutique hotel re-opened in July after an £8 million refurbishment.  Located just off Oxford Street, Nova is an oasis of calm and pleasure - a welcome break from the shopping of Oxford Street or the office.     

The Nova Bar & Grill, already cited in several ‘Best Bar Guides’, provides an informal space designed for meeting friends, and the leather chairs and low leather chaise are designed by Poltrona Frau, the Italian leather designers who also supply Ferrari cars.  The décor is simple white and rich chocolate brown with accents of colour from the original paintings and the slowly revolving coloured light flooding the white walls.  Top quality ambient music is provided by Artcoustic - the worldclass sound specialists.
