Patrick Bonnetain Is Appointed General Technical Manager For Hotels With Accor

Patrick Bonnetain has joined Accor as General
Technical Manager for Hotels in the General Services Department. He
will be responsible for buildings, property and maintenance, together
with overall coordination of technical activities in hotels.
Patrick Bonnetain`s mission will be to continue to implement the policy
of improvements in building quality and cost optimization, especially
through acceleration of processes. Indeed, every year, Accor builds over
100 hotels and refurbishes several dozen more. Among the biggest
hotels built or refurbished in the last few years, we can mention the
Sofitels in New York and Philadelphia, the Essaouira Sofitel, the Paris
Bercy and Paris-la Défense-la Grande Arche Sofitels, the London Tower
Hill Novotel, the Brussels Tour Noire Novotel…
The current major sites are the Chicago, Washington, Buenos Aires and
London Sofitels, the Novotel in Barcelona, the Accor Village in Roissy
that will include 4 hotels (Etap Hotel, Ibis, Formule 1 and Suitehotel), the
refurbishment of Nikko hotel to become a Novotel, etc.
Patrick Bonnetain, who is 48 years old, started work as a site foreman
and soon moved on to posts with increasing levels of responsibility in
some of the largest building firms in the world, mainly in Europe. He
gained solid skills there in all fields of building, and acquired full
knowledge of the market. In the last ten years, he has held posts as
Assistant General Manager for Campenon Bernard and then SGE (which
has since become Vinci) and recently for Eiffage Construction.
