JAL Hotels Company Limited To Conclude The Sales & Marketing Collaboration Of “Hotel Nikko de Paris

JAL Hotels Company Limited (President: Shosuke Machida) will conclude the sales & marketing collaboration of Hotel Nikko de Paris (764-room 31-story hotel opened in Paris, France in April 1976) with Accor on December 31, 2001 due to the expiration of the term.
JAL Hotels and its French subsidiary has sold its wholly owned shares of Hotel Nikko de Paris S.A. - The holding company of Hotel Nikko de Paris- to Colony Investors IV, a US investment fund and Accor S.A. in France on March 31, 2001.
Since April 1, 2001 the hotel has been owned, managed and operated by Accor under the name of “Hotel Nikko de Paris” until December 31, 2001. During this period JAL Hotels has been collaborating with Accor on the hotel`s sales & marketing. 

From the expiration of this sales & marketing collaboration the hotel name will change to “Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel” on January 1, 2002.
JAL Hotels Company Limited has a capital of 4,272 billion yen, and its 2000 sales amounted to 129 billion yen. The company operates two hotel brands; ” Nikko Hotels International” and “Hotel JAL City”, with a total of 50 hotels (30 in Japan and 20 Overseas) and 15,961 rooms.

JAL Hotels intends to open a number of new hotels in the near future. They include Hotel Nikko Bayside Osaka (641 rooms) on April 27, 2002, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto (191 rooms) on May 31, 2002, Hotel JAL
