Marriott Senior Living Services (MSLS), a division of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), names Cory Benson director of alliance strategy. Benson will be charged with developing strategic alliances to support the Senior Living Services division and national programs that are mutually beneficial to associations and organizations interested in partnering with MSLS.

Marriott Senior Living Services is a leader in the senior housing category and we believe Cory will make us even stronger, said Bruce Himelstein, senior vice president of sales and
marketing for MSLS. Cory will identify ways for MSLS to better market ourselves in what has become an increasingly crowded and competitive industry. She will also leverage the resources at Marriott`s vast client base to bring further value to our customers and our business.

A 15-year veteran of Marriott International, Benson joins MSLS from the lodging division where she most recently held the position of director of alliance account sales. There she implemented strategic plans for creating customer value and solutions by leveraging Marriott`s resources across the enterprise, and handled accounts including Merck & Co. and Johnson & Johnson. She is an active member of the Strategic Account Management Association and a facilitator in the Marriott Sales School where she counsels senior sales associates.

Benson is a graduate of the University of California-Berkeley where she earned a B.A. in English.
